I believe in miracles.
I also believe in mermaids.
I believe that even if we don’t see miracles and mermaids with our own two eyes on this side of life, that they in fact do exist on another side and the other side.
I’m dedicating this post [which is the end of this series], to an old friend, Adam Van Eaton, who passed away this morning. I love you man and you will be missed by everyone you left behind.
I am grateful that he was surrounded by love and will be praying for a safe journey to heaven for him.
Adam was one of the first people my age who showed me what a true focused passion was. He would sit for hours studying and staring at car magazines. He knew every detail of every page and of every car and you couldn’t challenge his knowledge without pretty high level education on whatever vehicle you were discussing. You could feel his love for these inventions just radiating off of him as he read and looked and spoke. It was a lot like the way my dad loved cars. I am grateful to say that because of these early influences on my life, I live my life doing what I love. Designing cool clothes and creative directing my shoots. This is probably my favorite post to date and I just hope it can mean something to someone and that we all realize how precious our time is and we spend our lives in love doing what we love.
I know that whenever our ride, swim, hop skip, however you chose to traverse through this wild life; ends, that we will be together again on the other side of the other lake, on another road, in a different space, in a different form; but still in these same spirits that we were so lucky to have been blessed with so that we could cross paths as we all hopefully fall passionately in love with our quick lives here on Earth together.
I know one day after I die, I’m going to be out there in the universe and I will see Adam again. We are going to pull up next to each other in the fast lane in heaven with his Lingenfelter 427 Turboand my 458 Italia and take a few laps around the rings on Saturn…and obviously he will win. :p
Love and constant prayers, my old pal! God bless your wonderful soul on your journey to the other side. And if you’re reading this, please say a prayer for Adam and his family at this time. Thank you sincerely,
