An unexpected delight. The weather was perfect. It’s like a little piece of fairytale history. Cobble stone streets, Pastel painted regal buildings. New friends. A miniature Eiffel tower. An Erte painting. An overload of contemporary art. A hot air balloon attraction. It’s European to the core with beautiful bridges and mom and pop shops. I visited the oldest bar, Blue Light and wrote my name on the wall. Dined next to the Charles Bridge at Kampa Park, and had an amazing lunch at Aureole for the view of the entire city! Up next —–> ITALY!
Amazing contemporary art all over the town.
The Castle at the top of the city was such a treat.
The Petrin Lookout Tower was built in 1981.
Although it is often referred to as a mini Eiffel Tower it is actually not because it is octogonal and not square.
The View from the Petrin.
I think The Czech Republic is a wonderful place and springtime is surely the time to visit.
